Allowfy for WooCommerce is now on WordPress.org
The Allowfy plugin passed the WordPress.org review and is live in the official plugin directory. Here's what it does for a WooCommerce store, and the two tools for developers on other systems.
Live in the official directory
Allowfy for WooCommerce passed the WordPress.org plugin review and is now in the official directory: wordpress.org/plugins/allowfy-for-woocommerce.
You no longer need to download a zip file. In your WordPress dashboard, open Plugins → Add New, search for Allowfy, then install and activate it like any other plugin. It's free.
What the plugin does
- Lets AI agents find your store. It serves
/.well-known/poppy.jsonon your own domain, for agents that follow the Personal Agent Protocol, and/.well-known/ucp, the Universal Commerce Protocol profile that shopping agents such as Google's read to search your products. - Connects WooCommerce to Allowfy in one click. You approve on your own dashboard, and WooCommerce hands Allowfy its key directly. You never copy a secret.
- Optional: the store chat. One tick shows the Allowfy store assistant on your pages. It finds products and looks after orders, under your rules, and customers approve every change. How it works.
- Optional: AI-readiness fixes. It fixes what the free Allowfy Check reports, on your own domain: an llms.txt written from your store, robots.txt rules that let AI assistants acting for customers in (keeping your other rules), and your shipping and return policy added to each product's data. Each one is off until you tick it.
The plugin itself doesn't read or change your orders. Allowfy does that through the WooCommerce key you approve, and only within the rules you set. The AI-readiness options call no outside service at all.
Not on WordPress? Two tools for developers
- The `allowfy` package on npm. Your system answers four questions (who is this customer, what can they see, what would this change do, and do it), and the package does the rest. It checks each request's signature and returns what Allowfy expects. It has no dependencies, and runs on Node, Deno, Bun, Supabase Edge Functions, Cloudflare Workers and Next.js. Run
npm install allowfyto add it. - Allowfy Check in your terminal. Run
npx allowfy-check check https://your-domain.comfor 111 checks against the Personal Agent Protocol, each with what was sent, what came back, and the line of the spec. It's open source under Apache 2.0.
Prices, plainly
The plugin is free. Allowfy's test mode is free: everything runs end to end and nothing in your store changes. Live mode is a paid plan, on the pricing page.
