An AI chat on your store that can cancel and return orders, safely

Most store chatbots can only answer questions. The Allowfy store assistant finds products, tracks orders, cancels and starts returns, under your rules and with the customer's approval for every change.

Why most store chatbots stop at "please contact support"

A shopper asks the chat on your site: "Cancel my order, I picked the wrong size." Most chatbots answer with a link to a form, or a promise that someone will get back to them. The customer wanted it done, not explained.

There's a good reason chatbots stop there. Letting a language model change orders is risky: it can be talked into things, it can mix up customers, and nobody can say afterwards who decided what.

The Allowfy store assistant does the work, and removes those risks by design.

What it does

  • Finds products for any visitor, from your own catalog, before anyone signs in.
  • Tracks orders once the customer signs in.
  • Cancels an order that hasn't shipped, and starts a return on one that has arrived.

Why it's safe

The assistant isn't a special back door. It's your own agent, and it goes through the same door as every outside AI assistant:

  1. Your rules decide. Each action is allowed, needs the customer's approval, needs your team, or is refused, with limits per order and per customer over time. Anything without a rule is refused.
  2. The customer signs in with a code sent to the email of their store account. No password is typed into the chat, and the assistant only ever sees that customer's own orders.
  3. The AI only proposes. When a change is possible, the window shows the exact terms with an Approve button. Only the customer's click moves it forward. The model can't approve anything by itself.
  4. Each change runs once, even if the network drops halfway.
  5. Every step is on your signed ledger, with an evidence file you can use if a customer disputes a charge.

A conversation, start to finish

  • Shopper: "Do you have the linen shirt in medium?"
  • Assistant: "Yes, the white linen shirt is in stock in M." It shows the product.
  • Shopper: "Cancel my order 1042, I ordered the wrong size."
  • Assistant: "I emailed you a code. Enter it here to sign in."
  • The shopper enters the code and is signed in.
  • Assistant: "Order 1042 hasn't shipped. Cancel it and refund the full amount?" [Approve] [No]
  • The shopper presses Approve. The order is cancelled in your store, and the step is on your ledger.

How to add it

  1. Connect your store to Allowfy (Setup → Your system).
  2. Open Setup → Store assistant, give it your store's name and colour, and list your site's addresses. The chat can only be shown on those addresses.
  3. Add one line to your site, before </body>.

On WordPress and WooCommerce it's even simpler: tick Show the Allowfy chat on my store in WooCommerce → Allowfy. The Allowfy plugin is free on WordPress.org.

The chat speaks Arabic and English, and it follows your page's direction.
